어쨌든 미국에서 통계가 나왔다. 외국의 유학생 현황 그리고 자국학생들의 해외 유학 실태에 관한.

미국내 외국 학생들 중에 한국학생들은 "쪽수"로 당당히(!) 3위를 했다.
작년보다 9% 증가 했으니, 한국의 경제성장률보다는 확실히 높다. (일본은 14%가 줄었다.)

3위와 4위간의 격차가 이렇게 크기도 쉽지가 않다. 우리가 캐나다를 제쳤다고 좋아해야하나?

한국 사람들은 별 관심 없을 수도 있겠지만,
인도, 중국, 일본에는 미국 학생들도 공부하러 많이 가는가 보다.

반면 한국에는 대체로 미국학생들이 영어선생으로 돈벌러만 간다.
